CTGP-7 is a custom track and mod distribution pack initially created by DarkFlare, and is currently being developed by PabloMK7 and Fishguy6564. It is released as a custom homebrew application. The pack contains various mods for Mario Kart 7, such as: character reskins, custom tracks, custom music/sounds, and other listed below. It is the first distribution to utilize a plugin for additional options. It is also the first distribution featuring a custom app. The distribution supports the European, American and Japanese regions and all versions of Mario Kart 7. CTGP-7 uses custom course slots to allow custom tracks and Nintendo tracks to coexist in the pack without the need of a menu.

The cup selection menu is modified with two buttons featuring arrows that can be touched. Alternatively, players can use the L and R buttons. When selected, these buttons cause the current on-screen cup buttons to be replaced with other cups, including custom cups, creating a scrolling menu system. All custom tracks are stored inside custom cups. |
